I absolutely LOVE lemonades and fresh fruit.  I went to this wonderful cafe, Ms. Dahlia’s Cafe, with one of my best friends in Brooklyn.  I had the best cucumber lemonade in life!  I immediately went on the hunt to find a recipe.  in my search, I came across a great blog, A Beautiful Mess, that has some amazing recipes for lemonades.  I had to share.  So here you go, enjoy, and I WILL POST MY OWN CREATIONS…after the snow melts.

Easy Quiche

no-more-ramen:

Equipment: Oven

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup self raising flour
  •  1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1¼ cups milk
  • 1 finely chopped Onion
  • 1 chopped rashers Bacon/Vege bacon

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and stir 
  2. Pour into a hot, greased dish, and add anything else you like, i.e. mushrooms, parsley, etc
  3. (It’s good as it is)
  4. Bake @ 180º for approx. 45 min
  5. Serves 4-6

This is my grandma’s recipe, she sent me a couple of easy, cheap recipes while I was studying  and on a minuscule budget. The eggs might be a bit steep, but can be 4 meals (or two if you’re cooking for two of you, which I was - it made dinner and lunch for school the next day - it good straight out of the oven or cold). I usually had some lettuce and tomato plus whatever other salady things I could throw together with minimum effort to go with it.

You can easily take out the bacon, or replace with vege bacon for a vegetarian version :)

Who says you need to order carry out for fried rice?

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup brown whole grain rice
  • Onion, Diced
  • Carrots, Diced
  • 1 Egg
  • Olive Oil
  • Soy Sauce
  • Vinegar

Instructions:

  • Steam Rice for 45 min, add a little bit of vinegar with the water to make sticky
  • Dice veggies, throw  into pan with oil
  • Throw on rice and cake down
  • Cook for 4-5 min on medium-high heat
  • Flip/Mix Rice
  • Cook for another 4-5 min
  • Move the rice over for the scrambled egg, dice and mix as the egg cooks
  • Throw on soy sauce, let simmer for ~30-45 seconds
  • Eat :3

LET ME TELL YOU A THING IM THE BEST AT FRIED RICE! IM THE MOTHERFUCKING KING OF FRIED RICE!
